Parviz Karami, the president of the policy-making council of the “Celebration of Thousand Creative Companies”, stated: in addition to paying attention to the formation of knowledge-based companies and their development, the Vice-Presidency also pursues another part of companies that are mainly active in creative, cultural and new industries based on digital space.

Karami continued: since there is a high capacity among these companies for entrepreneurship and economic prosperity, it is important to expand their activities. In this regard, to encourage creative companies and expand their activities, a "celebration of a thousand creative companies" is held.

The secretary of the headquarters for knowledge-based economy culture-building asserted: since the announcement of the call, 133 creative companies, 35 startups and 3 accelerators active in the creative industry have registered for this event.

Pointing out the start of assessment of the projects by referees, Karami expressed: due to the current situation in the country in terms of the widespread spread of the corona virus, the closing time will be announced in the presence of state officials and the final winners of the festival.

According to the president of the information and communications center of the Vice-Presidency, in addition to the competitive sections, various webinars and workshops have been held on the sidelines of this national celebration to educate the participants on the latest developments and developments in the field of soft technologies and to provide the necessary advice in this section.

The president of the policy-making council of the event continued: this event seeks to identify creative companies with superior products in order to expand their activities by allocating support packages to them. In this way, it becomes easier for them to get on the path of commercializing ideas and designs.

Pointing out the thematic diversity of these 1000 creative companies registered in the program of the development of the ecosystem for creative companies, Karami added: out of one thousand registered creative companies, 519 companies are related to the field of digital businesses and cyberspace. In addition, 133 companies in the field of games, toys and entertainment, 88 companies in the field of handicrafts, tourism and cultural heritage, 94 companies in the visual and audio industries, 20 companies in learning, publishing and 57 companies in the field of design and architecture. There are also 41 companies in the field of medicinal plants and traditional medicine, 7 companies in the field of visual and performing arts, 26 companies in the infrastructure services of creative industries and 15 companies in other creative and cultural industries.
